CYNTHIA HUDSON
Cynthia Hudson is a trailblazing media executive, writer, and producer who has shaped Spanish-language and cross-cultural media across television, digital, and radio for more than three decades.
She began her career at Univision, creating and producing Antes de las 6 and TV Mujer, the network’s first Emmy-winning daily series. As Vice President of Programming and Production at Telemundo where she established the network’s novela production unit and produced Tres Destinos. At UIH, she created the Casa Club Network for Latin American cable distribution. In 1997, she wrote and created Miami Sands, the first English-language telenovela produced by Promax and Dolphin Entertainment, distributed worldwide in multiple languages.
Hudson later launched Cosmopolitan TV for Hearst Entertainment in Spain, Latin America, and Canada, expanding global partnerships and becoming the first executive to secure European rights to Sex and the City. From 2005 to 2010, as Chief Creative Officer and Senior VP at Spanish Broadcasting Systems, she oversaw the launch of Mega TV and the digital platform Lamusica.com.
From 2010 to 2025, Hudson served as SVP and Managing Director of CNN en Español, redefining the brand across the U.S., Latin America, and Spain. Honored with eight Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and named among Fortune’s 50 Most Powerful Latinas, she continues to lead with vision, innovation, and cultural impact.
LEILA VICTORIA FERNANDEZ
Leila Victoria Fernandez is a Cuban-American actress and award-winning screenwriter. Following her passion for theater in high school, she went on to graduate in 2023 with a major in Film Production and Communications from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to Los Angeles that year to pursue her career as an actor, writer, and producer. She is managed by Liam Scholey and Julia Watkinson at Vision Entertainment. She currently studies acting at John Rosenfeld Studios and improvisation at Groundlings Theater. Leila strives to bring a fresh and unique perspective to the big screen
